Future Ready Facts
Make the case that all students can and should graduate from high school “future ready”
This section will arm you with case-making materials on key issues and policies within the college- and career-ready agenda. The “leave-behind” Fact Sheets have been written with the broadest audiences in mind, although some are targeted to specific audiences and are noted as such. All of the fact sheets are available to be downloaded in Word format if you are interested in modifying them so that they better reflect what’s going on in your state or community.
In addition to the stand-alone fact sheets, this section also includes Flex Fact Sheets that walk you through responding to a common concern about the college- and career-ready agenda – such as "raising expectations will cause more students to drop out" – and the Math Works advocacy kit, which provides resources that make the case for why all students - regardless of their plans after graduation - should engage in rigorous math course-taking throughout their high school experiences.
Combined with the other resources on this web site, these case-making materials will help you ensure that all students in your state graduate “future ready” from high school with the skills needed to succeed in college and careers.
